Brand

Time & Style philosophy

The brand offers a diverse range of products, including furniture, lighting, tableware, and home accessories, all crafted with a philosophy that honors both form and function.

Rooted deeply in Japanese craftsmanship, Time & Style collaborates with over 100 artisans across Japan, employing traditional techniques such as woodwork, ceramics, glass, and Japanese washi paper. The brand emphasizes the natural textures and craftsmanship of materials, ensuring that each item is not only functional but also an artistic expression of Japanese culture.

Production is centered at Time & Style’s factory in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, where skilled artisans oversee every aspect of the process—from choosing logs from local producers, sawing and drying wood to polishing and finishing. This meticulous approach preserves the integrity of the materials, resulting in minimalist yet timeless designs that appeal to a global audience while retaining a distinctly Japanese essence.

In keeping with their commitment to sustainability and respect for natural resources, Time & Style plants new trees in Asahikawa every year. This initiative not only supports the local environment but also reinforces the brand’s dedication to the longevity and sustainability of their craft.

Time & Style also partners with renowned designers and architects, such as Kengo Kuma and Peter Zumthor, to create collections that align with its quintessence. These collaborations help create cohesive interior spaces that are deeply connected to cultural heritage and exemplify the brand’s commitment to quality and tradition.

As a brand under Prestige Japan Inc., Time & Style continues to bring traditional Japanese craftsmanship into modern homes worldwide, offering products that are not only beautiful but also deeply rooted in cultural significance and environmental responsibility.

Most Time & Style products are crafted at the state-of-the-art factory in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. Here, skilled craftsmanship is blended with cutting-edge equipment to ensure precision and attention to detail at every stage—from the initial processing of materials to the final polishing and finishing. By selecting local logs from the Asahikawa forests and partnering with local wood producers, Prestige Japan Inc. not only supports the local economy but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with transportation. This approach guarantees the highest quality of each piece, whether produced in small batches or large quantities.

Through Time & Style, Prestige Japan Inc. continues to bring the essence of Japanese craftsmanship to homes, hotels, and large-scale projects worldwide, maintaining a steadfast commitment to quality, tradition, innovation, and sustainability.
